I believe in the power of alternative healing, including conscious language, prayer/meditation, journaling, mindfulness, exercise, excellent food, massage, yoga, and essential oils.
In my practice, I utilize Young Living Essential Oils because I have experienced a profound change in my personal life both physically and emotionally with these precious oils and believe deeply that you can too. If you have another essential oil company that you would prefer to use in therapy, this is fine. Just let me know!
During the therapeutic process, you may be encouraged to utilize any and all of the above mentioned activities to enhance your experience and healing. At no point are you required to purchase or use essential oils in order to be successful in counseling. They are simply one more tool to add to your growing toolbox towards healing.
As a Colorado native, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, running, and taekwondo. I love using exercise, essential oils, prayer/meditation, and good food to take care of myself. I believe that total wellness is about mind, body, and spiritual connections.
We believe in looking ahead rather than behind.
While looking back at our past can be helpful to see our successes and the things that we have overcome, we choose to focus more on the here and now. When you need to dig into the past, we will join you. When you are ready to look ahead, we will join you.
We accomplish this through theory, tools, and commitment.
We approach counseling from a person-centered perspective, and use behavior therapies and modalities that encourage change in thought processes and behaviors. We have a variety of tools that can be implemented and can be modified to meet your specific needs. We are committed to you. We are committed to your recovery. We are committed to your healing and overall wellness.
